Teaching Online is a Niche Market

Teaching online is a niche market I chose for marketing, but you can decide which niche you’re comfortable with to build a business and concentrate starting to write notes and then typing them out for a hard copy. Writing is important but not as much as you might think. You’ll achieve far more with less writing but being straight to the point with great video content and great on topic lessons with short reviews about what each video content is telling your audience just like I’m doing for you in my training.

Choose each topic carefully as I have done for you in making this eBook as a digital hard copy. I’ve mentioned this list before but can’t tell you enough how important it is to implement these rules for choosing a good topic.

  1. Choose a subject that you know, and you can write about.
  2. Choose a topic that you love and are passionate about.
  3. Write about something you are an expert at.
  4. Pick a topic that You genuinely want to learn more about.
  5. Choose topics that you can make videos about as I have for you.

Choose a topic or niche your good at like me travelling, blogs, business writing, teaching English at all levels, internet content writing and much more. Think about your hobby, job, skill, expertise and create a blog about it for others to learn from. Think about branching outwards and selecting one of your topics and really go to town with it and think about selling it as a business to train others online. Remember teaching online is a niche market with the rise of businesses and training course online it’s normal to mention the trend is there and students want to pay less for their studies.

Create lots of videos and make them lively and fun and don’t stress about having some mistakes at first and remember to practice your cam skills and don’t delete your videos if you feel they are not right,  you’ll be losing time and content when the first may have been the best. We are all human, a few tiny mistakes are possible even at the savvy level with large entrepreneur business videos for marketing I see many camera recording problems and they spend millions on tech.

When you have recorded your topics think about how you’re going to build your campaigns and marketing funnel to attract customers to make them buy from you. Your products and services are as good as you plan for your business marketing, campaigns and funnels to work. You can set up a campaign in MailChimp and send out a set of emails to your customers or from the leads you have already gathered through your authority marketing, telling people that your training is on the way and they simply should not miss it.

You can build a landing page for each part of your training segmenting each of them for you to put a price on them. While your making lot’s of notes think about a means of writing without using paper that leaves you with countless amounts of rubbish and notes all overt the place. Keep your articles in one place and travel with that freedom that leaves you feeling professional and able to write articles and website content at ease with this

Choose your Platform

Now you have a topic and you have been writing notes repeatedly, researching and thinking about your niche you should begin to think about the tools needed in terms of programs such as websites, blogs, landing pages and shopping carts. I chose three for this business which are, Mailchimp, Big Commerce and Gmail Business for my business email. I set up shop in Big Commerce to sell my services and used Mailchimp to build my email campaigns. Now I’m using wealthy affiliates for sales which I’m sure you agree is noticeable on this website as I try to bring you the best products to run your business with the best training on the internet with the best people possible. You’ll be hearing lots more about Wealthy Affiliates in the future as I bring you a full on report on how to brand and do online business.

I’ve tried all the others, but I believe keeping the cost down for my customers in showing you that it doesn’t have to cost as much as you think. We can discuss far more about this in my comments or later this website as uncover as much as I can for you to take in. Some of the platforms available to you are excellent for newbies and professionals due to having the choice of which subscription to go for such as beginner, professional or enterprise.

A learning platform is an integrated learning platform with integrated online services that provide you with information, tools and resources to support and enhance educational delivery and management. Choose a platform that suits your requirements be it a teaching or learning platform or even both for you host your entire business on. I chose a website for training and recruitment of English teachers which is up and running at this time.

Write your Script

When you’re thinking about writing a story for your blog or website outline your story with a basic narrative It has a sequence of events, the plot. Narratives also have characters and a setting, as well as a narrator or person from whose point of view the story is told. Examples of Narrative: … For example, Romeo and Juliet tells the story of two young lovers whose families’ hatred of each other leads to their untimely deaths. Narration means the art of storytelling, and the purpose of narrative writing is to tell stories.

Any time you tell a story to a friend or family member about an event or incident in your day, you engage in a form of narration. In addition, a narrative can be factual or fictional. But in terms of business you will be much better telling the absolute truth in showing your authority and showing others you are a great storyteller and business trainer, language teacher or business trainer. Think about writing your stories in three acts because this will reduce the work needed to relay a message and reduce the time you spend creating your content and training by getting straight to the point. Add sequences to your stories and as mentioned write by use of dialogue.

Dialogue refers to a conversation or discussion or to the act of having a conversation or discussion. … Often, we read outer dialogue, which occurs between two characters as spoken language. Examples of Dialogue: “Lisa,” said Kyle, “I need help moving this box of toys for the garage sale. Cut away the dead weight by terms of elimination, making your script shorter, more to the point and readable to an audience that may be international. It’s much better to keep your script easier to understand if your niche is to reach out to the international audience.

Show your scripts to your family and close friends and ask them what they think about your writing and don’t worry about constructive criticism because this will assist you with making your content and script writing far better for others on the internet to read it, if you need to make a few changes. When explaining about an event or story think about explaining about something you can write down in sequence of events to keep your story in good shape and understandable.

I’m mentioning these needs for your scripts to be great because you need to think about how you sound on cam if you’re going to learn your lines and deliver them. This is an extremely fantastic idea if you are going to do a live Q&A (Questions & Answers) in your Facebook community to answer all the questions on your niche or product sales and courses if you have them competed.

Think about the number of students you want to teach if its language learning you want to do and consider teaching students in groups from where you’ll need a platform that allows you to teach in groups and have lots of webcams up at the same time. Think about storage limit again and how much teaching content you need to complete your courses and lessons. Choose a platform where you can engage with your students or audience easily. Choose a platform that has excellent customer service so if any problems arise, they can be fixed quickly. Finally think about how much upgrades cost for the platform when you need more space to run your business and extra tools that will enhance it.

Get some Feedback

When you have written all your scripts get some feedback from friends, family or people that are interested in your internet business. You can ask them to read the scripts and ask them to ask you questions almost like been in a real-life Q&A in your Facebook community. Keep your scripts short and accurate so your students or customers can hear the fast track method to learning. You don’t want your audience to suffer from information overload which happens a lot on the internet when a topic has been over revised and to many pages are written of it. It’s far better to get straight to the point and save time.

When you have bullet pointed your scripts you can ask the questions to your friends to see if they can answer any of the questions. Get them interested in your business so that they tell others about your new business venture and who knows maybe you’ll have some word of mouth customers lined up for your lessons.

Type your scripts out in Microsoft word or any other word processing program that you have on your computer so that you can have a hard copy of your notes all written up for your feedback. Get someone to read your script for you to answer as many questions as possible because this will help you when recording videos due to more attention placed on how you present yourself on can rather than reading a full script out.

Go through your whole business and ask your friends or family how they perceive your business will run. Send out your emails to one of your friends and ask them what they think of the delivery technique to their inbox and how exciting the videos made them feel and if they would like to learn more from the video content. Ask for feedback about if they would consider buying your courses or lessons or if you’re a language teacher studying with you online. Go through the whole process of your business with a fine toothpick and make sure its automated correctly so you get zero complaints.

Ask someone you know about your website, blog, landing page or shopping cart to find out if it is designed ok and how what they think of your payment system and authority pages about your niche and products and how you are the best at what you do. Really go to town with feedback and impress everyone you know to increase your motivation ready for your campaign launch.

Think about feedback by making it easy for customers to provide feedback and make sure they know that you actively encourage it. A good place to ask for customer feedback is on your website. If you can make customers happy by solving their problems, then you’re more likely to get good referrals instead of bad one

Get the Right Gear

Getting the right gear can be challenging at the best of times with large marketing companies investing in high tech recording equipment but if you’re just starting out you don’t have to worry too much about spending lots of equipment.

  1. A camera that can shoot video (even a smartphone can work!)
  2. A microphone (can be built into the camera, but we recommend using an inexpensive external mic)
  3. Good lighting
  4. An online interface to host your videos, audio podcasts, and other digital content

Although you’re certainly able to film some high-quality video with your smartphone these days, you will likely be limited by the size of the files you can create (which impacts the length of your videos). Also, the microphones that are built into smartphones are great for simple videos that don’t involve demos or movement, but if you’re moving around during your online classes your audio will be sub-par.

That said, you’ve probably already GOT a smartphone and all you’ll need to start filming is a decent tripod, so give it a whirl. If you look great but sound garbled, you’ll need to upgrade. When I first started out, I had a Logitech camera with inbuilt microphone which was exceptionally good for what I needed it for. I think for some recording rooms you may need a lamp for lighting but make sure the lamp isn’t situated in the correct place when your recording so that you caught in the video with the right lighting and mood.

If you have any plans to film full-length 45-90-minute classes, you’ll probably want to invest in a good camcorder. My personal recommendation? If you’re just getting started with video, we suggest the Canon VIXIA HF R800. This camera is inexpensive (you can find it for under $300) and super easy to use. It takes SD memory cards that you can pop out of the camera and plug into your laptop. No wires or connection cables needed!

If you’re planning to teach while seated, you could also consider a webcam. I love the Logitech C920 for its crisp image and affordable price. Perfect for online classes that don’t require physical demos.

Consider your Space

The easiest, and arguably best, type of lighting for your virtual classroom videos will be natural light. If you can film outside or in a room with lots of windows, morning light is your very best friend. The best strategy is to face your primary light source (instead of having the source behind you), or you will appear backlit (too dark).

But sometimes natural light isn’t available, convenient, or enough. And when you are forced to add artificial lighting sources to your video shoots, you’ll want to keep these three simple goals in mind:

  1. Make the featured speaker look fabulous.
  2. Make your setting look welcoming and natural.
  3. Eliminate shadows, especially on people’s faces.

To be perfectly honest, anything you can do to nail these goals is completely fine! I’ve got some tips and recommendations to share, but feel free to improvise with the tools you have at hand. So long as your shot looks natural and relatively shadow-free, you’re golden.

Make sure you haven’t got too much clutter in the background when recording videos or teaching classes live. Keep the background clean and no clutter other than perhaps a nice high standing plant for decoration or if you have something that comes to mind that looks nice in the background then go for it.

Online Courses

Technology has come a long way over the past few years, and fortunately, it doesn’t take a lot of equipment or software to create an online course. And you don’t have to break the bank to get everything you need either. Whether your budget is a few hundred or a few thousand dollars, it is possible to create an online course that your students will love.

So, if you’re about to create your first online course, don’t feel compelled to spend thousands of dollars on equipment and software in order to get started. It is more important to create your online course, publish it and get feedback from your students than it is to wait until you have all the best equipment before you record anything. Once your first course is created, you can always circle back and re-record your lessons, add new lessons, or create an entirely new course with a higher production value.

Find a Test Audience

Finding a test audience is simple enough to achieve your business objective and there are several possibilities. Remember I said don’t go it all alone with your business venture. Try to join groups, forums for advice and ask your friends what they think of your online business. Your audience would be better closer to home been your family and close friends but first I would ask a member of your family to practice a live class and a live recording practice to see if all your gear works, your videos are up to scratch and your microphone is perfect enough to run your business the professional way.

Ask a member of your family chosen to go through your class with you and make sure you ask then to make a payment for the lesson. For the trial what I do is change all my course content in the online shop for free so that a course can be trialled from scratch almost like it’s a real customer but for free. You need to test your business all the way from the start to the finish to know for sure that it’s viable.

Identifying the target audience from the market:

  1. Analyse and divide the market into segments.
  2. Identify the most attractive and profitable ones.
  3. Describe the most active group of customers.
  4. Make a plan that will ensure the product’s presence on the market.

Identifying the target audience which could be teachers and students if you’re making a whole business for recruitment and agency, you make a power move to your business prosperity. Before starting an advertising campaign, you should clearly imagine who these people are. Lots of businessmen make a mistake considering their product to be desirable to all. By and large, this is not true. To make your product sell, you should narrow the buyers’ circle down. That is why you must identify the target audience. If this group is too large, divide it into sections. Focus on it to make them purchase the merchandise.

Set Your Price

  1. Always try to stay competitive!
  2. Pay attention to your competition
  3. Study the pricing history of your competition
  4. Study the general availability of your product
  5. Information is your most important weapon
  6. Always stay competitive with your task at hand and business.

Setting your price all depends of the nature, time and effort you have placed upon yourself to regain your finances and build your first business not been in debt because it’s all about trying not to start in or end up in debt but build on the future of becoming a player on the internet and building a great business. The whole reason I built this business was to aim you right at the top to understand that you don’t have spent out on your first attempt but at least ay making a living at it.

It takes a long time to get your videos going and all the equipment, but it doesn’t have to an expensive project. When I started it was for fun so it cost me nothing with a hotel booking system and other projects, but I never made a lot out of them even though I should have kept on going it wasn’t the right time.

I suggest you start writing your business into a plan and organising your needs for to make it work as I’ve talked about in this training rather than hitting a brick wall and feeling stumped at the next step. It doesn’t take thousands and should never but it could be time more than money your spend so it could work out that you might even save enough with this new venture of yours to get things started by staying at home and learning about the ropes. It cost little to get a domain name and a landing page and website or blog so don’t worry, more think about the list below.

  1. Find a need and fill it.
  2. Write copy that sells.
  3. Design and build an easy-to-use website.
  4. Use search engines to drive traffic to your site.
  5. Establish an expert reputation for yourself.
  6. Follow up with your customers and subscribers with email.
  7. Increase your income through back-end sales and up-selling.

Be more aware as to where you’re going money wise rather than loosing because you won’t lose if you’re willing to make a go at it and stick with it, read and learn.

One of the most important internet marketing strategies is to develop every customer’s lifetime value. At least 36 percent of people who have purchased from you once will buy from you again if you follow up with them. Closing that first sale is by far the most difficult part, not to mention the most expensive. So, use back-end selling and up-selling to get them to buy again:

  • Offer products that complement their original purchase.
  • Send out electronic loyalty coupons they can redeem on their next visit.
  • Offer related products on your “Thank You” page after they purchase.
  • Reward your customers for their loyalty and they’ll become even more loyal.
